I don't think this has been talked about on here.
Would it be possible for audio profiles to also become the greeting for your zone voicemail?
What do people think of this idea.
I advise against this because there are some (premium members) whose audio profs are 2 minutes long. Remember, some are accessing Zone by Phone with a mobile phone. They are paying for airtime minutes, and who wants to listen to something that's 2 minutes long before they can record a VM? Do you see the logic behind this argument?
True, but most systems have it where you can hit the pound key to skip over a greeting so if someone had that long of a profile then all they'd have to do is hit the pound key when they'd heard enough of the greeting.
You could also make it an option so that the audio profile doesn't have to be the greeting, you can just have it say your mailbox name.
or maybe a custom greeting
that too.

it does sound like a great idea, but some waffle on, sing or put stupid little comedy skits on their audio profile, which would make the process of voicemailing said people very tedious!
Yeah Rachel but I'd have a good laugh listening to some of those! But I also see your point!
Well Like I said earlier you can all ways skip over the greeting, or have a defult greeting with your box name or something.
Personally though I hate though audio profiles where they play skits and stuff and don't say who they are.
Yeah I hate those kinds of profiles too! I like the ones where people say at least who they are!
